Favourite Memories

 

We were doing Self Directed Learning (SDL). We had to create a word art using activities we have done for our whole time at Elm Park School. I enjoyed doing this because I had fun choosing the different word fonts,colours,shapes,and words. Next time I want to maybe put a picture that is more irrelevant to what words I put in.

Columns and Rows

 

WALT: Identify what a cell,column,row is in a spreadsheet. I found this easy because I looked at the row and the column to find out what the cell is. I enjoyed doing this because it was fun learning how to program. Next time I want to try something harder and learn more!

Identify complete sentences

WALT: Identify complete sentences using subjects and predicate. I found it easy because I knew that the sentence just needed a subject and a predicate. I learnt that a predicate describes the action or being of the subject. I enjoyed this activity because I learnt something new.

What are some effects on smiling?

I was learning to research on effects of smiling. I had to research and find out information about smiling. I found it hard because it was hard coming up with answers to the question. Next time I want to research on what smiling means.

Walt: Identify adjectives and adverbs

I was learning to identify adjectives and adverbs. I had to read the sentences and identify if the bold words were an adjective or a adverb. I found this hard because I got mixed up with the bold words whether it was a adverb by describing a verb or a adjective. Next time I would try to identify the adverbs without any help.

Walt: interpret bar graphs.

I was learning to interpret bar graphs. I had to look at the information on the bar graph to answer the questions. I found this easy because we just had to search for the answers inside the graph.

My Recount

I was learning to write a recount. I had to write an introduction,bodys 1 2 and 3 and a conclusion. I found this easy because I remembered a lot of detail from what happened. Next time I want to make my story more interesting.

I want to improve on my times tables this year because it will help me do division and other maths.

I am most excited about Camp this year because I will get to have heaps of fun and get to know lots of people.
